These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of web hosting, VPS, domain registration and related digital infrastructure services provided by Get Hosting UK.
1. General Provisions
Company Information: Get Hosting UK is a business based in London, United Kingdom. Registered company details and address should be added here if applicable.
Agreement: These Terms, alongside our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Get Hosting UK.
Updates: We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify active customers of significant changes via email or the client control panel.
2. Account Registration and Security
Accuracy of Information: You must provide accurate, current and complete contact and billing information. Failure to do so may result in account suspension.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including cPanel, WHM, Stack CP and VPS root access.
3. Provision of Services and Uptime
Infrastructure: Our services are positioned around top-tier UK datacentres including London, Maidenhead, Ipswich, Manchester and Portsmouth.
Maintenance: We reserve the right to perform scheduled and emergency maintenance and will aim to provide advance notice where possible.
Service Level: We aim for 99.9% network uptime. Any downtime credit, where applicable, is issued as account credit and will not exceed the monthly fee of the affected service.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You must not use our infrastructure to:
- Host or transmit illegal, defamatory or copyright-infringing content.
- Distribute malware, viruses or participate in botnet activities.
- Send unsolicited bulk email or spam.
- Run cryptocurrency mining scripts or unauthorized intensive processes.
- Host phishing sites or engage in fraudulent activities.
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
5. Product-Specific Terms
Reseller Hosting: Resellers are responsible for providing support to their own end-clients and ensuring those clients follow these Terms.
VPS Servers: Unmanaged VPS servers are provided with root or administrator access. The customer is responsible for server configuration, security and updates.
Backup Storage Boxes: You are responsible for configuring and testing your backup scripts. Get Hosting UK does not monitor the integrity of data uploaded to these boxes.
6. Backups and Data Loss
Customer Responsibility: Unless you have explicitly purchased a managed backup service or Backup Storage Box, you are responsible for maintaining off-site backups.
Courtesy Backups: Internal system backups, if performed, are for disaster recovery and are not guaranteed for individual restoration.
7. Payments, Billing and Renewals
Subscription Billing: Services are billed in advance on a subscription basis.
Renewals: It is your responsibility to ensure invoices are paid on time to prevent service interruption.
Late Payments: Services with overdue invoices may be suspended. Accounts remaining unpaid for 14 days past the due date may be terminated and data deleted.
Price Changes: Existing customers will receive at least 30 days’ notice before any price increase takes effect on their next renewal.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation: You may cancel services through the client control panel before the next billing cycle.
Cooling-Off Period: Consumers may have the right to cancel within 14 days of initial purchase under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Exclusions: Domain registrations, SSL certificates and custom software licences are non-refundable.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Get Hosting UK shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages including loss of profits, revenue, data or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount paid for the affected service in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get Hosting UK, its directors, employees and datacentre partners from claims arising from your use of the Services or breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
